Oasi Zegna as a Key Player at Apreski – Milan Mountain Show

From October 16th to 19th, Oasi Zegna took part in Apreski – Milan Mountain Show, the event that brought the mountain world to the heart of Milan. Four days with over 200 speakers and more than 50 Olympic and Paralympic athletes gathered to showcase the mountain in all its dimensions: sport, culture, innovation, and sustainability.

Oasi Zegna played a leading role in the initiative, bringing its expertise to two panels dedicated to the values that have always guided its mission: the connection between humans and nature, and the idea of the mountain as a place capable of generating well-being, development, and awareness.

Ermenegildo Zegna’s vision
During the panel “Ermenegildo Zegna’s Vision – The man who, one hundred years ago, envisioned the mountain as a territory for social development”, Oasi Zegna shared the origins of the project born from the foresight of Ermenegildo Zegna, who as early as the early 20th century recognized the mountain’s potential as a resource. A model of sustainable development in which environmental protection, personal well-being, and regional growth coexist in harmony.

The panel featured Andrea Ronchi, Deputy Director of Sciare Magazine and moderator of the event; Riccardo Capo, CEO of Oasi Zegna; and Corrado Panelli, forestry specialist.

Oasis of Sport and Nature
The second panel, “Oasis of Sport and Nature – Well-being at the Center of the Individual”, explored the relationship between nature, physical activity, and health. From athletes to visitors, Oasi Zegna represents a place where the mountain becomes a space of balance and regeneration, where one can rediscover an authentic connection with oneself and with the world around us.

The panel featured Andrea Ronchi, Deputy Director of Sciare Magazine and moderator of the event; Riccardo Capo, CEO of Oasi Zegna; Andrea Pernice, CEO of Pernice Group; Daniele Basso, artist; Claudio Ravetto, coach of the National Ski Team and technical director of the Italian Alpine Ski Team; Giuliano Razzoli, alpine ski champion; Max Blardone, alpine ski coach and former Italian alpine skier; Chiara Andrà, associate professor of mathematics education at Politecnico di Torino and Istituto Universitario Salesiano di Torino.

Looking toward the future
With its participation in Apreski, Oasi Zegna promotes a vibrant and inclusive mountain culture, balancing tradition and innovation. A journey that, just as Ermenegildo Zegna envisioned, encourages people to experience nature with respect, awareness, and a sense of wonder.
