The Chinese Ski Association chooses Oasi Zegna Ski Racing Center for olympic preparation ahead of Milano Cortina 2026
Already an official training center of FISI, Oasi Zegna Ski Racing Center further strengthens its positioning on the international skiing scene
Oasi Zegna Ski Racing Center, the innovative sports center dedicated to competitive alpine skiing located in Bielmonte, in the heart of Oasi Zegna in the Biella Alps, is hosting the Chinese Ski Association until January 19th. The Chinese team has selected the Piedmont location as its training base for Olympic preparation.
The presence of the Chinese delegation, led by Angela Li, Alpine Skiing Director and Adriano Iliffe, Head Coach, represents a further and significant recognition of the technical, organizational and logistical excellence of Oasi Zegna Ski Racing Center. The facility is already the official training venue for the national teams of the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) and continues to establish itself as an international reference point for elite alpine skiing.
During their stay at Oasi Zegna, the Chinese team – comprising 14 members – will benefit from FIS-homologated slopes, facilities dedicated to athletic preparation, and an organizational structure specifically designed to meet the needs of national teams. The technical characteristics of the slopes, combined with high-quality snow conditions, excellent sun exposure and the unique natural environment of Oasi Zegna, make Bielmonte an ideal location for training before top-level competitions.
Gildo Zegna commented: “We are proud that an ambitious national team has chosen Oasi Zegna Ski Racing Center for its preparation program. This presence, together with our role as an official training center for FISI, confirms the quality of the work carried out and the vision behind this project: to offer athletes the best possible conditions while enhancing the territory and the values of sport”.
Oasi Zegna Ski Racing Center thus continues its path of growth and internationalization, strengthening dialogue with sports federations worldwide and consolidating its role as a center of excellence for competitive alpine skiing. The arrival of the Chinese Team is a testament to the prestige and reliability of the center, now increasingly recognized on a global level.
