The main feature of this trail is its constant gradient from start to finish, from Monte Tirlo to the unsurfaced road connecting Castagnea to the Novareja Sanctuary. The terrain is extremely varied however, starting in a pinewood, crossing thick woodland and extensive pastures and then following the stream that leads to the end of the trail.
